Labour market, preliminary findings of Eures 2022 report

Within the frame of service EURES 2022 Report on Labour Shortages and Surpluses, Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini will present the preliminary findings of the analysis at the EURES annual programming cycle workshop to be held in Cyprus on 6 and 7 October 2022.

The aim of the workshop is to support the exchange of information among member states on the EURES national work programmes and the joint review exercise.

In the past weeks, Fondazione Brodolini has been committed to the analysis of the questionnaires circulated among the EURES national coordinators (NCO) and reporting the shortages and surpluses in their countries in the past year.

The attendees of the workshop will be the European Labour Authority (ELA) as well as the same NCOs participating in the survey, interested in learning which occupations are concerned by shortages and surpluses, in terms of their spread and magnitude.

Some preliminary evidence will concern the profiling of such occupations, looking at the gender, age, education level and share of migration. The workshop will also be the occasion to collect insights from the audience and address future analysis in the light of the final report.
