SkillsPULSE survey on employers' skills needs
As coordinator of the Horizon-Europe funded project SkillsPULSE: Skills - Predicting, Understanding, and Locating Shortages in Europe, Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini is supporting the dissemination of the SkillsPULSE survey on employers’ skills needs, which aims to better understand skills demand across Europe.
The survey, which is open until 22 February 2026, investigates employers' and companies' perceptions of skills shortage, with the aim to understand to what extent they are able to meet their own skills needs. To this end, it includes questions on skill needs, recruitment experiences, and workforce training practices
The survey is being conducted in Italy, Greece, Estonia, Ireland, Finland and Poland by SkillsPULSE project partners and is available in national languages. The evidence gathered will be used by researchers and EU policymakers to improve the matching of skills supply with labour market demand across Europe.
"Ensuring strong participation from companies is essential to accurately reflect labour market realities and contribute to evidence-based EU policies on skills and employment" said Liga Baltina, Head of FGB's Labour Market & Skills Research Unit and project coordinator on behalf of Fondazione Brodolini.
