Policy evaluation, our new EU assignments

At the end of 2024, FGB's Policy Evaluation and Human Capital Area has been awarded new assignments in the fields of education and justice, thus strengthening its role as a key contributor to European policy development and analysis. 

As part of the Framework contract with the European Commission's Directorate-General for Education Youth and Culture (DG EAC) for the provisions of studies and analyses, Fondazione Brodolini, under the lead of Technopolis Group, will carry out a study on balanced and inclusive learning mobility in the context of the European Education Area.

The main objective of the study is to contribute to a strategic debate and offer policy advice on promoting balanced and inclusive learning mobility for higher education in the European Union. It will entail in-depth desk and field research, including the compilation of monitoring and statistical data in all EU member states, resulting in the development of comprehensive case studies for each country.

"FGB will be in charge of strategic foresight involving scenario-building activities and drafting scenario-based recommendations" explains Costanza Pagnini, Head of FGB's Policy Analysis and Evaluation Unit and coordinator of the study.

Moreover, the consortium led by EY Belgium and comprising FGB has been selected by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Justice and Consumers (DG JUST ) for the implementation of a major four-year framework contract. As part of the assignment, the consortium will provide extensive support to Justice and Consumers policy areas, focusing on evaluations, policy analysis – including the integration of behavioural insights – and mapping of legal systems.
