SkillsPULSE international workshop on employers' skill needs

As part of the project SkillsPULSESkills – Predicting, Understanding, and Locating Shortages in Europe, coordinated by Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini, the international workshop Understanding skill gaps: Employer experiences, workplace drivers, and practical responses will take place online on Thursday, 29 April 2026, from 10:00 to 13:00 (CEST) on Microsoft Teams.

The workshop will present key findings from the SkillsPULSE online survey conducted in Italy, Greece, Finland, Poland and the UK by SkillsPULSE project partners, providing insights into employers' skills needs across Europe. It aims to explore which skill gaps exist, why they arise within workplaces, and how employers are addressing them in practice.

The event will feature a keynote contribution from an EU-level representative, as well as two interactive panel discussions.

Bringing together employer organisations, industry representatives, and HR professionals from Poland, Italy, Greece, Finland, United Kingdom, Ireland and Estonia, the workshop will offer a valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives, learn from peers, and contribute to shaping practical responses to skills shortages across Europe.
