Liga Baltina

Liga holds an executive MBA in security, defense and space and a PhD in Management. She leads FGB’s work programme of labour market and skills research and advising on providing services to the European Commission and its executive agencies. She has coordinated over 50 research assignments related to labour market, skills and innovation policies.  She’s particularly interested in exploring innovation and skills management practices and approaches in building entrepreneurship competence employed by different industries.  Since 2015 she’s coordinating the service contract on provision data analysis and intelligence on skills and labour markets to Cedefop. She’s a member of the coordination team of the Alliance for strategic skills addressing emerging technologies in defence project (known as ASSETs+) within Erasmus+.
