FGB is member of the Eurofound Network of correspondents. As correspondent, FGB is in charge to provide a regular screening service of developments occurring in the labour field for Eurofound observatories. In detail, FGB contributes to the European Observatory on Industrial Relations and Working Conditions providing reports about labour related legislation, industrial relations and working conditions, and to the European Monitoring Centre of Change (EMCC), reporting all the relevant company restructuring cases (i.e. when there is significant job-loss or job-creation), and updating databases about support instruments for restructuring and related legislation.

FGB delivers on-demand:  

National contributions to comparative reports addressing working conditions, industrial relations, employment, and related social policy topics:

-  Win-win arrangements - mini case studies: the assignement consists of a case study analysis of company level practices balancing employers' requests and employees' needs (2015-2016)

-  Posting of workers: update on the process of implementation at a national level of the Enforcement Directive (2014/67/EU) (2015) 

Studies inquiring the representativeness of social partners' organizations in specific economic sectors:

- Sugar (2015)

- Railways and Public Urban Transport (2015)

Reporting of restructuring cases involving at least one hundred job gains or losses:

- Update of the ICTWSS database describing national collective bargaining and industrial relation systems (2016)

Provision of articles on important national developments concerning labour market and industrial relations:

- Jobs Act and the reform of the dismissal regime (2015)

- Italian Reform of the unemployment benefit schemes  (2015)

- A new challenge for Italian enterprises: the reform of solidarity contracts and inter-generational staff turnover (2016)
