PES Network, the 2023 stakeholder conference
On 30 March 2023, the new stakeholder conference of the European Public Employment Services Network (PES Network) will be held in Brussels. The event, organised by Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini, will analyse the role that public employment services can play in empowering the workforce and closing the skills gap in Europe.
2023 is the European Year of Skills and the conference will address how PES and stakeholders can work together to contribute to more effective and inclusive training and upskilling. Moreover, the meeting aims to identify skills that are relevant to labour market needs and meet the expectations of jobseekers.
A mix of panel discussions and thematic and collaborative workshops will shape the conference to explore perspectives around new skills and share latest practises with partners, with the aim of addressing the challenge of upskilling and retraining the European workforce.
