FLOWER – Fostering Local Opportunities for Women’s Effective Participation

The FLOWER project aims at strengthening Civil Society Organizations through capacity building seminars and exchange of good practices in terms of:

- building sustainable participatory democracy mechanisms;

- promoting sustainable models of participation in the public decision-making processes as well as in the implementation of reforms.

The project will focus on women’s participation in the decision making processes in the public sphere, while at the same time strengthening cooperation and networking among civil society organizations in EU and Turkey. Moreover, the action aims at increasing citizens’ awareness about policy process and the importance of active citizenship.

The project targets national and local civil society organizations active in the field of women’s rights as well as local authorities involved in the planning and/or delivery of social policies.
