Micro-credentials in Hungary, our role in OECD's project
As the implementing organisation for the European Commission's project Development and Implementation of the Individual Learning Accounts in Hungary (ILA-HUN), Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini has been acknowledged by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) among the international stakeholders consulted in its project on micro-credentials in Hungary.
The ILA-HUN project, which concluded in 2024, was funded by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Structural Reform Support (DG REFORM), and aimed to provide expertise and insights on flexible learning pathways and adult upskilling in Hungary.
"This recognition highlights FGB's growing role in shaping European debates around the future of skills, lifelong learning, adult education and innovation in vocational education and training" commented Giancarlo Dente, Coordinator of FGB's Policy Evaluation & Human Capital Area.
Building on the outcomes of ILA-HUN, FGB has recently launched AutoCredify, a new two-year policy experimentation project funded by the European Education and Culture Exceutive Agency (EACEA), which aims to explore forward-looking approaches to skills anticipation and micro-credentials in the automotive maintenance and repair sector.
As lead partner of the project, FGB is coordinating research, stakeholder engagement, and policy experimentation activities, further strengthening its role in promoting inclusive, innovative, and future-oriented learning strategies.
