TechyourWorld, the call for Italian and French SMEs

The call for applications to select ten small and medium-sized enterprises (of which five from Italy, and five from France) to join the project TechyourWorld - Cross-border academy for the digital and green transition of SMEs is now open. The project, which sees the partnership of Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini, aims to develop innovative business solutions for the digital and green transition, and is financed through Interreg Italy-France Alcotra 2021-2027, the European programme for cross-border cooperation in the Alpine region between Italy and France.

The call is aimed to SMEs with a registered office in the Aosta Valley or in the French regions of Savoie and Haute Savoie, with a minimum of three and a maximum of 250 employees and two approved balance sheets.

The selected enterprises will have the opportunity, between June 2024 and June 2026, to work on joint innovation projects on the green and digital transition, with the support of a cross-border network of professionals and thirty talented young people. The goal is to improve the companies' competitiveness on the market, thanks to an overall budget of two million euros.

TechyourWorld is a two-year programme envisaging a series of activities to foster cross-border cooperation between companies in the Aosta Valley and France. These include exchange visits, remote cooperation, consultancy services from a network of experts and on-site internships, as well as workshops, summer camps and dissemination events (Tech-Club) on digitalisation. All the activities will be carried out within the courses and workshops of a cross-border Academy, which will be responsible to provide SMEs with specific training on the most relevant IT skills for companies, related to environmental sustainability.

As part of the project, Fondazione Brodolini is in charge of organising a workshop on sustainability, coordinating an academy on digital marketing and e-commerce, and a Tech-Club in the Aosta Valley. In addition, FGB will be represented by a member of the jury in the selection committee that will choose the ten SMEs for the TechyourWorld training programme.

Fondazione Brodolini will coordinate all the activities within the project from the offices of the Pépinières d'Enterprises, the start-up incubator in the Aosta Valley which has been managing since 2021.

According to Daniele Cattaneo, Incubation manager at Pépinières d'Enterprises on behalf of FGB, "TechyouWorld is an oustanding opportunity to carry on with the internationalisation path in the incubators and established companies in the Aosta Valley, as well as a chance to further strengthen partnerships with local stakeholders".

The call for applications to join TechyourWorld is available on the website of Confindustria Valle d'Aosta, and will remain open until Sunday, 2 June 2024.

The event for the official launch of the project is scheduled for Wednesday, 15 May 2024 in Aosta, at the Aula Magna of the Università della Valle d'Aosta - Université de la Vallée d'Aoste (strada Cappuccini, 2/A).
