Towards a greener mobility ecosystem with TRIREME

As partner of the project Digital and green skills towards the future of the mobility ecosystem (TRIREME), Fondazione Brodolini participated in the launch conference and kick-off meeting of the project, which took place in Brussels from 10 to 12 April 2024.

Led by the Automotive Skills Alliance (ASA) and funded by the Erasmus+ programme, TRIREME focuses on advancing digital and green skills within the mobility-transport-automotive sectors; it aims to prepare for upcoming shifts in required skills and comprises input from regional and social partners.

In the project-related events, FGB was represented by Ioan-Cristinel Raileanu and Rafael Martins Resende, who work at FGB's office in Brussels for the Labour Market and Skills Research Unit.

The opening conference on 10 April brought together consortium members and EU stakeholders, including officials from the European Commission and the Committee of Regions. Discussions highlighted the importance of equipping workers with new skills and knowledge in order to navigate industry changes driven by electrification and automation.

The kick-off meeting was held on 11 and 12 April, and convened representatives from 31 partners, who outlined the project's Work Packages.

The role of Fondazione Brodolini in the project leverages its expertise in addressing labour and skills shortages.

In particular, FGB's contribution will be focused on skills intelligence, curriculum development, and on the dissemination of project outcomes, thus reinforcing the commitment of our organisation to researching and supporting one of Europe's key industries.
