Updating the 2024 European Skills Index for Cedefop
Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini has been appointed to work on the update of the 2024 edition of the European Skills Index (ESI).
The European Skills Index is a composite indicator through which the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (Cedefop) measures and evaluates the performance of national skills systems. The ESI consists of three pillars: skills development, skills activation, and skills matching. Using 15 indicators, a score is generated, ranking European countries according to their relative performance, and offering policymakers crucial insights to enhance their skills systems and boost competitiveness.
Fondazione Brodolini will carry out the update of the ESI as part of the Cedefop's framework contract on provision of data analysis and intelligence on skills and labour market for the years 2023-2026, currently managed for FGB by Liga Baltina.
