Our training for high-quality remote internships

Learning through remote internships is possible, as long as design and monitoring methods and techniques are effectively adapted to specific contexts.

As a partner of the European project Work-based learning in an online environment (eWBL), Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini has launched a training programme for the sharing of operational tools with the staff – both teaching and non-teaching – of Ca' Foscari University in Venice and Sannio University in Benevento.

The official kick-off of the initiative took place on 12 April 2024 at the Milano Luiss Hub for makers and students; the training was provided by Silvia Cannizzo, FGB's social innovation expert.

Funded through the Erasmus+ fund, the eWBL project has remote work-based learning at its core. The aim is to improve the employability of university graduates by providing teaching and administrative staff and university trainers with the tools to design quality learning pathways.

The training developed by Fondazione Brodolini offers those who accompany and support university internships the opportunity to hone their skills, focusing on smart or hybrid solutions to increase the level of participation of all students.

This is made possible thanks to the projects and research activities carried out by FGB, contributing to a constant monitoring of changes in the labour market (through Future of Workers in-depth analyses) and skills' development, as well as to the awareness of the importance of appropriate pedagogical monitoring techniques, and to a high-level attention to companies' needs.

The training pathway offered by Fondazione Brodolini also aims to update and optimise the set of tools, approaches and communication processes shared between the various parties managing university traineeships; the final result will be a validation of the toolkit developed by all partner organisations.
